Some Unix systems (GuixSD, NixOS) do not install programs like
Bash and Python to /usr/bin, and /usr/bin/env has to be used to
locate these instead.

Check for the existence of TMPFILE with a .exe extension and if found
rename it with no extension. This allows the program to be run and
removed properly.
