Aaron Durbin e884592209 lib/memrange: add function to initialize range_entry
In order to enforce the semantics of struct range_entry provide
an init function, range_entry_init(), which performs the field
initialization to adhere to the internal struture's assumptions.

Aaron Durbin 1b915b8904 lib/memrange: allow stack allocated free list
Instead of solely relying on malloc for building up an address space
for the range_entry objects allow one to supply a list of free entries
to memranges_init_empty(). Doing this and only calling malloc() in
ramstage allows a memranges oboject to be used in a malloc()-free
environment.

Patrick Georgi a73b93157f tree: drop last paragraph of GPL copyright header
It encourages users from writing to the FSF without giving an address.
Linux also prefers to drop that and their checkpatch.pl (that we
imported) looks out for that.

This is the result of util/scripts/no-fsf-addresses.sh with no further
editing.

Patrick Georgi b890a1228d Remove address from GPLv2 headers
As per discussion with lawyers[tm], it's not a good idea to
shorten the license header too much - not for legal reasons
but because there are tools that look for them, and giving
them a standard pattern simplifies things.

However, we got confirmation that we don't have to update
every file ever added to coreboot whenever the FSF gets a
new lease, but can drop the address instead.

util/kconfig is excluded because that's imported code that
we may want to synchronize every now and then.

Furquan Shaikh 196ee2b029 coreboot memrange: Two changes for zero size or empty memrange
1) Add check for zero size in memrange.
2) Add public memrange_init_empty function to allow initializing only the
memrange structure without filling in device resources

Aaron Durbin ca4f4b8c9e mtrr: only add prefetchable resources as WRCOMB for VGA devices
Be more conservative and only add VGA devices' prefetchable
resources as write-combining in the address space. Previously
all prefetchable memory was added as a write-combining memory
type. Some hardware incorrectly advertises its BAR as
prefetchable when it shouldn't be.

A new memranges_add_resources_filter() function is added
to provide additional filtering on device and resource.

Aaron Durbin ed9307db13 memranges: add memranges_update_tag() functionality
The memranges_update_tag() function replaces all instances
that are tagged with old_tag and update to new_tag. This
can be helpful in the MTRR code by adjusting the address
space if certain memory types cause the MTRR usage to
become too large.

Aaron Durbin f6f6e13c46 memrange: add 2 new range_entry routines
Two convenience functions are added to operate on a range_entry:
- range_entry_update_tag() - update the entry's tag
- memranges_next_entry() - get the next entry after the one provide

These functions will be used by a follow on patch to the MTRR code
to allow hole punching in WB region when the default MTRR type is
UC.

Aaron Durbin a05a8522ce lib: add memrange infrastructure
The memrange infrastructure allows for keeping track of the
machine's physical address space. Each memory_range entry in
a memory_ranges structure can be tagged with an arbitrary value.
It supports merging and deleting ranges as well as filling in
holes in the address space with a particular tag.

The memrange infrastructure will serve as a shared implementation
for address tracking by the MTRR and coreboot mem table code.
