Patrick Georgi ae5ab604d5 crossgcc: improve error message on missing tools 
People were confused about the 'missing toolchain', so
improve the error message.

  arm-elf
  armv7a-eabi
  aarch64-elf

known broken:
  alpha-elf
  powerpc64-elf
