If building outside of the Chromium chroot, you'll probably want to grab the

latest libftdi1-1.2.tar.bz2 from

||
|
|
http://www.intra2net.com/en/developer/libftdi/
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
and install it into /usr instead.
