0746452a26 southbridge/amd/sb700: Remove acpi_get_sleep_type for early CBMEM
The acpi_get_sleep_type function in SB700 ramstage is only needed
for boards / CPUs that require late CBMEM initialization.

Providing this function in early CBMEM-compatible boards breaks
building of the ACPI S3 code due to multiple definitions of
acpi_get_sleep_type.

a73b93157f tree: drop last paragraph of GPL copyright header
It encourages users from writing to the FSF without giving an address.
Linux also prefers to drop that and their checkpatch.pl (that we
imported) looks out for that.

This is the result of util/scripts/no-fsf-addresses.sh with no further
editing.

ee3ec8e212 southbridge/amd/sb700: Set up uninitialized devices in early boot
LPC decodes were not enabled, leading to a failure of POST 80 cards
and similar debugging devices. Enable the relevant LPC decodes
to allow debugging.

Additionally, the SMBUS controllers were not properly set up.
Enable both the primary and auxiliary controllers.

Finally, K10 and higher CPUs were hanging during boot due to
a misconfigued IOAPIC. Properly configure the IOAPIC.

Start cleaning this up by assigning each path type with separate

b890a1228d Remove address from GPLv2 headers
As per discussion with lawyers[tm], it's not a good idea to
shorten the license header too much - not for legal reasons
but because there are tools that look for them, and giving
them a standard pattern simplifies things.

However, we got confirmation that we don't have to update
every file ever added to coreboot whenever the FSF gets a
new lease, but can drop the address instead.

util/kconfig is excluded because that's imported code that
we may want to synchronize every now and then.

13e4182119 kbuild: automatically include southbridges
This change switches all southbridge vendors and southbridges
to be autoincluded by Makefile.inc, rather than having to be
mentioned explicitly in southbridge/Makefile.inc or in
southbridge/<vendor>/Makefile.inc.

In order to be able to drop southbridge/amd/Makefile.inc, some
scattered source files had to be moved to a southbridge/amd/common
directory, in accordance to what we are doing on other architectures
already.

This means, vendor and southbridge directories are now "drop
in", e.g. be placed in the coreboot directory hierarchy
without having to modify any higher level coreboot files.

The long term plan is to enable out of tree components to be
built with a given coreboot version (given that the API did not
change).

03abaee219 drivers/pc80/mc146818rtc: Assume we always have ALTCENTURY
This patch has a rather twisted history. It was originally split off
from a chromium patch, which moved ALTCENTURY to Kconfig. However,
since we have no user without ALTCENTURY, we've agreed that the best
way to proceed is to eliminate the non-ALTCENTURY case entirely.

The old commit message and identifiers are kept below for reference:

The availability of "ALTCENTURY" is now set through a kconfig
variable so it can be available to the RTC driver without having to have a
specialized interface.

TEST=Built and booted on Link with the event log code modified to use the RTC

b3f08c61f1 cmos: Rename the CMOS related functions.
Most of the code related to the mc146818 is not related to the RTC and is
really for managing the CMOS storage. Since we intend to add a generic API
for RTC drivers it's inconvenient for those functions to have an rtc_ prefix.
This CL renames those functions so they start with cmos_ instead. There are
some places where rtc_init was called with a comment that says something about
starting the RTC. That wasn't correct before (the RTC is always running), but
it looks a little odd now that the function is called cmos_init.

This CL also opportunistically cleans up some style problems in this file.

b32816e9a5 Remove PCI_ROM_RUN option
The main purpose of option rom is to supply int* handlers.
But supplying those is outside of coreboot scope and if someone needs those
they should run SeaBIOS anyway which runs the option roms wonderfully.

Running VGA oprom is kept because they're needed to init graphics.

This patch still keeps the options to include the option roms to make them
available to SeaBIOS.

8101aa6bb0 usbdebug: Support choice of EHCI controller
Nowadays, chipsets or boards do not only have one USB port with the
capabilities of a debug port but several ones. Some of these ports are
easier accessible than others, so making them configurable is also necessary.
This change adds infrastructure to switch between EHCI controllers,
but does not implement it for any chipset.

ef84401149 Add directive __SIMPLE_DEVICE__
The tests for __PRE_RAM__ or __SMM__ were repeatedly used
for detection if dev->ops in the devicetree are not available
and simple device model functions need be used.

If a source file build for ramstage had __PRE_RAM__ inserted
at the beginning, the struct device would no longer match the
allocation the object had taken. This problem is fixed by
replacing such cases with explicit __SIMPLE_DEVICE__.

fb387dfb92 usbdebug: Drop duplicates of EHCI BAR relocation code
All the additional work that needs to be done in EHCI BAR relocation
is independent of the hardware platform and was functionally identical
in all the copies removed.

When USBDEBUG is not selected, PCI EHCI controllers use standard
pci_dev_read_resources() call.

With USBDEBUG selected, PCI EHCI controller's device_operations
.read_resources is replaced with pci_ehci_read_resources() call,
which in turn will replace the device_operations .set_resources call.
The replacement for .set_resources reconfigures usbdebug driver side,
and calls the original .set_resources to configure hardware side.

24d1d4b472 x86: Unify arch/io.h and arch/romcc_io.h
Here's the great news: From now on you don't have to worry about
hitting the right io.h include anymore. Just forget about romcc_io.h
and use io.h instead. This cleanup has a number of advantages, like
you don't have to guard device/ includes for SMM and pre RAM
anymore. This allows to get rid of a number of ifdefs and will
generally make the code more readable and understandable.

Potentially in the future some of the code in the io.h __PRE_RAM__
path should move to device.h or other device/ includes instead,
but that's another incremental change.
