c31ba0ef52 drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Make FSP Headers Consumable out of Box
The following patch is based off of the UEFI 2.6 patch. The FSP header files
are temporarily staying in soc/intel/apollolake and FspUpd.h has been relocated
since the other headers expect it to be in the root of an includable directory.
Any struct defines were removed since they are defined in the headers and no
longer need to be explicity declared as struct with the UEFI 2.6 includes.

4dfe130819 driver/intel/fsp2.0: Add External stage cache region helper
If ramstage caching outside CBMEM is enabled
i.e CONFIG_CACHE_RELOCATED_RAMSTAGE_OUTSIDE_CBMEM, then a
helper function to determine the caching region in SMM
should be implemented. Add the same to FSP2.0 driver.
FSP1.1 driver had the same implementation hence copied stage_cache.c.

The SoC code should implement the smm_subregion to provide
the base and size of the caching region within SMM. The fsp/memmap.h
provides the prototype and we will reuse the same from FPS 1.1.

f7ce40baf6 vboot: consolidate google_chromeec_early_init() calls
On x86 platforms, google_chromeec_early_init() is used to put the EC
into RO mode when there's a recovery request. This is to avoid training
memory multiple times when the recovery request is through an EC host
event while the EC is running RW code. Under that condition the EC will
be reset (along with the rest of the system) when the kernel verification
happens. This leads to an execessively long recovery path because of the
double reboot performing full memory training each time.

By putting this logic into the verstage program this reduces the
bootblock size on the skylake boards. Additionally, this provides the
the correct logic for all future boards since it's not tied to FSP
nor the mainboard itself. Lastly, this double memory training protection
works only for platforms which verify starting from bootblock. The
platforms which don't start verifying until after romstage need to
have their own calls (such as haswell and baytrail).

b20d4ba57a drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Update the debug levels
Choose appropriate debug levels for the various messages in the FSP
driver.  Change:

* BIOS_DEBUG --> BIOS_SPEW: Normal FSP driver output level, allows
  builder to disable FSP driver output by selecting
  CONFIG_DEFAULT_CONSOLE_LOGLEVEL_7

* BIOS_ERROR --> BIOS_CRIT: These errors will prevent coreboot and the
  payload from successfully booting

806fa2463f drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Handle FspNotify calls
Other SOC platforms need to handle the FspNotify calls in the same way
as Apollo Lake.  Migrate the FspNotify calls into the FSP 2.0 driver.
Provide a platform callback to handle anything else that needs to be
done after the FspNotify call.

Display the MTRRs before the first call to fsp_notify.

672df16a49 drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Display FSP calls and status
Disable the chatty FSP behavior for normal builds.  Use a Kconfig value
to enable the display of the FSP call entry points, the call parameters
and the returned status for MemoryInit, SiliconInit and FspNotify. The
debug code is placed into drivers/intel/fsp2_0/debug.c.

828e73e0b6 intel/wifi: Include conditionally in the build
Keep this enabled by default as most x86 platforms could have PCI-e
slots equipped with one of these Intel WiFi adapters.

The Kconfig entries under google boards had no function previously,
the variable was never referenced.

a90f41bdd7 intel/fsp1_1: Add C entry support to locate FSP Temp RAM Init
FSP temp ram init was getting called earlier from ROMCC bootblock.
Now with C entry boot block, it is needed to locate FSP header and
call FspTempRamInit.

Hence add fsp 1_1 driver code to locate FSP Temp ram and execute.

af8ef2a810 drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Update MRC cache with dead version in recovery
If the system is in recovery, store the newly generated MRC data using a
dummy version which is not legit. This ensures that on next normal boot,
new MRC data will be generated and stored.

ae738acdc5 cpu/x86: Support CPUs without rdmsr/wrmsr instructions
Quark does not support the rdmsr and wrmsr instructions.  In this case
use a SOC specific routine to support the setting of the MTRRs.  Migrate
the code from FSP 1.1 to be x86 CPU common.

Since all rdmsr/wrmsr accesses are being converted, fix the build
failure for quark in lib/reg_script.c.  Move the soc_msr_x routines and
their depencies from romstage/mtrr.c to reg_access.c.

27cd96a661 drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Enable XIP romstage with loaded FSP-M
Separate NO_XIP_EARLY_STAGES from loading FSP-M into cache-as-RAM.
Quark executes romstage directly from the SPI flash part (in-place),
but loads FSP-M into ESRAM.  This split occurs because ESRAM is too
small to hold everything while debugging.

Platforms executing FSP-M directly from the SPI flash need to select
FSP_M_XIP.

f0ec82450b drivers/intel/fsp2_0: honor FSP revision for memory training data
Utilizing the FSP revision while saving the memory training data is
important because it means when the FSP is updated the memory training
is redone. The previous implementation was just using '0' as a revision.
Because of that behavior a retrain would not have been done on an FSP
upgrade.

32ac01823b drivers/intel/fsp2_0: load and relocate FSPS in cbmem
The FSPS component loading was just loading to any memory address
listed in the header. That could be anywhere in the address space
including ramstage itself -- let alone corrupting the OS memory on
S3 resume. Remedy this by loading and relocating FSPS into cbmem.
The UEFI 2.4 header files include path are selected to provide the
types necessary for FSP relocation.

a413e5e455 drivers/intel/fsp2_0: separate component validation from loading
The current FSP component loading mechanism doesn't handle all the
requirements actually needed. Two things need to be added:
1. XIP support for MemoryInit component
2. Relocating SiliconInit component to not corrupt OS memory.

In order to accommodate those requirements the validation
and header initialization needs to be a separate function.
Therefore, provide fsp_validate_component() to help achieve those
requirements.

2792868519 drivers/intel/fsp2_0: set BootLoaderTolumSize generically
The amount of reserved memory just below the DRAM limit in
32-bit space is defined in the FSP 2.0 specification within
the FSPM_ARCH_UPD structure. There's no need to make the
chipset code set the same value as needed for coreboot.
The chipset code can always change the value if it needs
after the common setting being applied.

Remove the call in soc/intel/apollolake as it's no longer
needed.

a3a06aeac5 drivers/intel/fsp2_0: fix hand-off-block types and size
The gcc compiler treats sizeof(void) == 1. Therefore requesting
a 1 byte reservation in cbmem and writing a pointer into the
buffer returned is wrong. Fix the size of the request to be
32-bits because FSP 2.0 is in 32-bit space by definition. Also,
since the access to the field happens across stage boundaries
it's important to ensure fixed widths are used in case a later
stage has a different pointer bit width.

e22d96c0f9 intel/i210: Change API for function mainboard_get_mac_address()
The function mainboard_get_mac_address() is used to get a MAC address
for a given i210 PCI device. Instead of passing pure numbers for PCI
bus, device and function pass the device pointer to this function. In
this way the function can retrieve the needed values itself as well as
have the pointer to the device tree so that PCI path can be evaluated
there.

65cc526f6f Ignore RAMTOP for MTRRs
Without RELOCATABLE_RAMSTAGE have WB cache large enough
to cover the greatest ramstage needs, as there is no benefit
of trying to accurately match the actual need. Choose
this to be bottom 16MiB.

With RELOCATABLE_RAMSTAGE write-back cache of low ram is
only useful for bottom 1MiB of RAM as a small part of this gets used
during SMP initialisation before proper MTRR setup.

fc3741f379 Add Board Checklist Support
Build the <board>_checklist.html file which contains a checklist table
for each stage of coreboot.  This processing builds a set of implemented
(done) routines which are marked green in the table.  The remaining
required routines (work-to-do) are marked red in the table and the
optional routines are marked yellow in the table.  The table heading
for each stage contains a completion percentage in terms of count of
routines (done .vs. required).

Add some Kconfig values:
*  CREATE_BOARD_CHECKLIST - When selected creates the checklist file
*  MAKE_CHECKLIST_PUBLIC - Copies the checklist file into the
   Documenation directory
*  CHECKLIST_DATA_FILE_LOCATION - Location of the checklist data files:
   *  <stage>_complete.dat - Lists all of the weak routines
   *  <stage>_optional.dat - Lists weak routines which may be optionally
      implemented

5c026445f0 drivers/intel/wifi: Add support for generating SSDT table
Intel WiFi devices that support wake-on-wifi need to declare a Power
Resource for this wake pin.  Typically this has been done with a
static declaration in the DSDT for each mainboard.  By adding it to
the existing intel/wifi driver it can be done based on a
configuration register in the devicetree.

Additionally the WiFi regulatory domain can be set in the SSDT
directly instead of needing to use NVS to pass the value to the DSDT.

Also add device IDs for Wilkins Peak 2 and Stone Peak 2 devices that
are found on Chromebooks, and clean up a long line and some comment
formatting.

This was tested by booting on an HP Chromebook 13 device and comparing
that the output in the SSDT matches what used to be in the DSDT.  The
WRDD value is read from VPD, if present, not from devicetree.cb.

Additionally the case where CONFIG_DRIVERS_INTEL_WIFI is enabled but
the wifi device is not described in devicetree.cb is tested to ensure
it still generates the AML but does not include the _PRW wake pin.

By design, FSP will send POST codes to port 80. In this case we have
both coreboot and FSP pushing post codes, which may make debugging
harder. In order to get a clear picture of where FSP execution begins
and ends, send post codes before and after any call to the FSP blobs.

Note that sending a post code both before and after is mostly useful
on chromeec enabled boards, where the EC console will provide a
historic list of post codes.

b0c2fe0554 cbfstool/fsp: Rename fsp1_1_relocate
FSP 2.0 uses the same relocate logic as FSP 1.1. Thus, rename
fsp1_1_relocate to more generic fsp_component_relocate that can be
used by cbfstool to relocate either FSP 1.1 or FSP 2.0
components. Allow FSP1.1 driver to still call fsp1_1_relocate which
acts as a wrapper for fsp_component_relocate.

61c1a05c07 util/cbfstool: Allow xip/non-xip relocation for FSP component
Currently, convert_fsp assumes that the component is always XIP. This
is no longer true with FSP 2.0 and Apollolake platform. Thus, add the
option -y|--xip for FSP which will allow the caller to mention whether
the FSP component being added is XIP or not. Add this option to
Makefiles of current FSP drivers (fsp1_0 and fsp1_1).

1e162bf8bd lib/prog_loaders: Allow platforms to skip stage cache
Before multi-CBFS support was added, x86 platforms cached their
ramstage in TSEG so that it could be re-used on the resume
path. However, more resources/assets are being put in cbfs that are
utilized during ramstage. Just caching ramstage does not mean that
correct cbfs region is used for all the data. Thus, provide an option
to allow platforms to skip caching any component for resume.

ddf4fa0cc3 drivers/intel/fsp1_1: fix linking romstage when SEPARATE_VERSTAGE used
The skylake-based Chromebooks use a separate verstage which runs
just after bootblock and prior to romstage. However, that
config is not enabled for coreboot.org so when
C_ENVIRONMENT_BOOTBLOCK changes were done it wasn't observed
that the Chromebook config failed because 2 _start symbols
were present. Remedy this failure by using the common
car_stage_entry symbol for taking over control flow.

In order to not muddle arch vs chipset implementations provide
a generic prog_segment_loaded() which calls platform_segment_loaded()
and arch_segment_loaded() in that order. This allows the arch variants

59be62480e intel/fsp1.1: Mark graphics init done after SiliconInit phase
If the VBT was provided to the FSP GOP driver then graphics init
will be done as part of SiliconInit step and we can mark that
when it is completed.

This will result in the "oprom" flag being set properly in the
coreboot gpio table and the netboot firmware will have video.

     silicon_init_params.GraphicsConfigPtr]

0fcd6f912b drivers/intel/fsp2_0: remove struct resource usage
There's no need to use a struct resource type for
fsp_find_reserved_memory(). struct resource is mainly associated
with a device and that memory is added to cbmem after memory init.
Other uses ins FSP 2.0 just use struct range_entry. Use that
instead for consistency.

9b28f0023c drivers/intel/fsp2_0: add TODOs to fix deficiencies
The FSP 2.0 implementation doesn't handle FSP modules for
SoCs that are required to be XIP. There is no notion of
"loading" in that situation where one should be copying
anything anywhere.

Additionally, the loading code does not handle overlaps within
the current running program which is doing the loading.

8951ed8b90 intel/wifi: Add WRDD ACPI method
Add an ACPI file containing a generic WRDD method that is used
by Intel wireless kernel drivers to determine the country code
to be used for regulatory domain configuration of the wireless
radios.

This requires an NVS variable called 'CID1' to provide an
ISO-3166-2 alpha-2 country code or it will just return 0 instead.

This is implemented as a bare method because this needs to be
included directly into the wifi device that is defined by the
mainboard as it may have board-specific settings like _PRW that
need to be provided as well.

a3e4833e5d intel/fsp1_0: Allow the MRC cache to live in a FMAP region
The new option CONFIG_MRC_CACHE_FMAP will cause fastboot_cache.c to
look in the FMAP for a region named "RW_MRC_CACHE" and prevents adding
a CBFS file named "mrc.cache".

Tested on a fsp_baytail-based board.

9590992402 soc/intel/common: Use SoC specific routine to read/write MTRRs
The registers associated with the MTRRs for Quark are referenced through
a port on the host bridge.  Support the standard configurations by
providing a weak routines which just do a rdmsr/wrmsr.

Testing:
*  Edit the src/mainboard/intel/galileo/Makefile.inc file
   *  Add "select DISPLAY_MTRRS"
   *  Add "select HAVE_FSP_PDAT_FILE"
   *  Add "select HAVE_FSP_RAW_BIN"
   *  Add "select HAVE_RMU_FILE"
*  Place the FSP.bin file in the location specified by CONFIG_FSP_FILE
*  Place the pdat.bin files in the location specified by
CONFIG_FSP_PDAT_FILE
*  Place the rmu.bin file in the location specified by CONFIG_RMU_FILE
*  Testing is successful if:
   *  The MTRRs are displayed and
   *  The message "FspTempRamExit returned successfully" is displayed

fbdc719414 intel/skylake: Implement native Cache-as-RAM (CAR)
Now coreboot should do BIOS CAR setup along with NEM
mode setup.

This patch also provides a mechanism to use 16MB code caching
benefit although LLC still limited to 1M/1.5M based
on SOC LLC limit.
Here with unlimited cache line gets replaced. Now we could use
unlimited cache size along with well defined data size

1249f056c1 intel/fsp1_1: Fix for passing VBT when vboot requests it
In order to support vboot requesting graphics support in normal
mode the VBT needs to be passed to FSP when it is requested
outside of the usual developer/recovery path.

To make this integrate cleaner use the generic bootmode provided
display_init_required() function instead.  Also have it print a
message indicating when it does not pass VBT to GOP so it is
easier to see what happened in the console logs.

8faea7d93d drivers/intel/wifi: Only compile if SMBIOS tables are generated
This driver adds an SMBIOS table for Intel WiFi, but if SMBIOS
table generation is disabled then it should not attempt to
compile or it will fail to find the "get_smbios_data" member
of the device_operations structure.

Tested by compiling and booting on purism/librem13 with
SMBIOS table generation disabled.

6d720f38e0 cbfs/vboot: remove firmware component support
The Chrome OS verified boot path supported multiple CBFS
instances in the boot media as well as stand-alone assets
sitting in each vboot RW slot. Remove the support for the
stand-alone assets and always use CBFS accesses as the
way to retrieve data.

This is implemented by adding a cbfs_locator object which
is queried for locating the current CBFS. Additionally, it
is also signalled prior to when a program is about to be
loaded by coreboot for the subsequent stage/payload. This
provides the same opportunity as previous for vboot to
hook in and perform its logic.

cbce4de976 drivers/intel/fsp1_1: Don't hide build related options behind HAVE_FSP_BIN
The right thing to do is to hide them behind PLATFORM_USES_FSP1_1.
The only things that should depend on HAVE_FSP_BIN is the code
that actually adds the file to CBFS, and the path to the file in Kconfig.

Removing the HAVE_FSP_BIN check requires some default values
for two Kconfig variables.

c5bb7bd957 fsp1_0: Update Kconfig for symbols not depending on FSP binary
There were several symbols that were inside the 'if HAVE_FSP_BIN' that
don't really depend on having the FSP binary.  In theory, we should be
able to build a coreboot rom and add the FSP binary later.  This doesn't
always work in practice, but this is a step in that direction.

This also fixes a Kconfig warning for Rangeley.

b90b94d3ef intel: Add MMA feature in coreboot
This patch implements Memory Margin Analysis feature in coreboot.

Few things to note
(1) the feature is enabled by setting CONFIG_MMA=y in the config file
(2) coreboot reads mma_test_metadata.bin from cbfs during romstage and
gets the name of MMA test name and test config name. Then coreboot finds
these files in CBFS.
If found, coreboot passes location and size of these files to FSP via
UPD params.  Sets MrcFastBoot to 0 so that MRC happens and then MMA test
would be executed during memory init.
(3) FSP passes MMA results data in HOB and coreboot saves it in cbmem
(4) when system boots to OS after test is executed cbmem tool is used
to grab the MMA results data.

3ecfdbde14 intel/fsp1_0: Use dummy microcode when calling FSP TempRamInit
Pass in dummy microcode when calling FSP TempRamInit API. FSP will not
do the microcode load and leave the work to coreboot.
Ensure that BSP has been loaded a microcode before calling TempRamInit
API, otherwise FSP will return error that No Valid Microcode Was Found.
Change has been verified on fsp_baytrail and will be applied to rangeley.

2524be4aff fsp1_1: pass ROM_SIZE to FSP for cacheable RO region
As vboot verification works on regions outside of CBFS
pass the entire ROM_SIZE to FSP for creating a cacheable
RO region.

Additionally remove the CACHE_ROM_SIZE_OVERRIDE as it doesn't
work with non-power of 2 CBFS_SIZE. In practice the entire
ROM should be attempted to be cached.

One of the interrupts in intel_vga_int15_handler lacks
positive return status. Write correct status to avoid
error messages in log.

TEST=With this change `int15 call returned error` is not shown anymore
     on a custom board with Intel Atom CPU, i945GME northbridge and
     i82801gx southbridge.

a73b93157f tree: drop last paragraph of GPL copyright header
It encourages users from writing to the FSF without giving an address.
Linux also prefers to drop that and their checkpatch.pl (that we
imported) looks out for that.

This is the result of util/scripts/no-fsf-addresses.sh with no further

909c512c88 fsp1_1: add verstage support
In order to support verstage the cache-as-ram split
is taken advantage of such that verstage has the
cache-as-ram setup and rosmtage has the cache-as-ram
tear down path. The verstage proper just initializes
the console and attempts to run romstage which triggers
the vboot verification of the firmware. In order to
pass the current FSP to use during romstage a global
variable in cache-as-ram is populated before returning
to the assembly code which tears down cache-as-ram.

deeec18520 gma ACPI: Do not overwrite backlight configuration
Changes to CR1 and CR2 were effectively overwriting the backlight
configuration from the devicetree with static values.

Instead read the maximum brightness value from BCLM (backlight
modulation frequency) and calculate the target level (Arg0 is the
target level as percentage).

Turned out that _BQC has to return a value from the list returned by
_BCL. So XBQC got a little heavier to search for the correct value.

d5842f5b5f gma ACPI: Consolidate non-PCH and PCH brightness levels
The two cases only differ in the register locations.

As the values in BRIG were all the same, consolidate them. They also
got normalized to percentages as the ACPI spec wants that (0x61 was 100%
before).

e6af4be158 intel fsp1_1: prepare for romstage vboot verification split
In order to introduce a verstage which performs vboot
verification the cache-as-ram environment needs to be
generalized and split into pieces that can be utilized
in romstage and/or verstage. Therefore, the romstage
pieces were removed from the cache-as-ram specific pieces
that are generic:

- Add fsp/car.h to house the declarations for functions in
  the cache-as-ram environment
- Only have cache_as_ram_params which are isolated form the
  cache-as-ram environment aside from FSP_INFO_HEADER.
- Hardware requirements for console initialization is done
  in the cache-as-ram specific files.
- Provide after_raminit.S which can be included from a
  romstage separated from cache-as-ram as well as one that
  is tightly coupled to the cache-as-ram environment.
- Update the fallout from the API changes in
  soc/intel/{braswell,common,skylake}.

e1ecfc93af intel: update common and FSP cache-as-ram parameters
Instead of just passing bits, tsc_low, tsc_high, and an
opaque pointer to chipset context those fields are bundled
into a cache_as_ram_params struct. Additionally, a new
struct fsp_car_context is created to hold the FSP
information. These could be combined as the existing
romstage code assumes what the chipset_context values are, but
I'm leaving the concept of "common" alone for the time being.
While working in that area the ABI between assembly and C code
has changed to just pass a single pointer to cache_as_ram_params
struct. Lastly, validate the bootloader cache-as-ram region
with the Kconfig options.

47818b4d60 fsp/cache_as_ram.inc and boards: Fix incorrect usage of POST_IO
POST_IO is a user-visible config bool. fsp_1_0/cache_as_ram.inc made a
mess of it, by forcing a build-time error when CONFIG_POST_IO was not
being set. fsp 1.0 boards ended 'select'ing this in their Kconfig.

Refactor fsp/cache_as_ram.inc handling of POST codes, and remove the
"select POST_IO" from boards that have it. Instead of implementing an
ad-hoc changing post code display and a delay based on port 0xed, just
encode the FSP failure code in the POST code. Since FSP failure codes
are > 16, we can encode the failure code in the lower nibble, and theirfailing function in the upper nibble.

04ebf598de fsp1_1: move relocation algorithm to commonlib
In order to support FSP 1.1 relocation within cbfstool
the relocation code needs to be moved into commonlib.
To that end, move it. The FSP 1.1 relocation code binds
to edk2 UEFI 2.4 types unconditionally which is separate
from the FSP's version binding.
