Maxim Polyakov c4f77d943a mb/asrock/h110m: use SSDT generator for SuperIO
Modifies the device tree to use the ACPI SSDT generator[1] for NCT6791D
SuperIO, dropping the need to include code from the superio.asl, which
was inherited from another chip (NCT6776) and required fixes. SSDT gen
support for Nuvoton NCT6791D chip was added in the previous patch [2].

Maxim Polyakov d947c691bc mb/asrock/h110m: rewrite gpio config using macros
This format of PCH GPIOs configuration, unlike the raw DW0 and DW1 [1]
registers values from the inteltool dump, is more understandable and
makes the code much cleaner. The pad configuration in this patch was
generated using the pch-pads-parser utility [2]. The inteltool dump
before and after the patch is identical (see notes)

Notes:
1. For some reason, GPIO RX State (RO) for the GPP_F4 and GPP_G10
changed the value to 0, but this doesn't affect the motherboard
operation. Perhaps this is because PAD_CFG1_GPIO_DRIVER is set to
PAD_CFG_GPI_INT(), and the pad is not actually connected. So far I
haven't circuit diagram to check this out.

2. According to the documentation [1], the value 3h for RXEVCFG is
implemented as setting 0h.

3. If the available macros from gpio_defs.h [3] can't determine the
configuration of the pad, the utility [2] generates common
_PAD_CFG_STRUCT() macros

Jacob Garber 8216b46d7b mb/{asrock,intel,purism}: Copy channel arrays separately
DqByteMapCh0 and DqByteMapCh1 are declared adjacently in the
FSP_M_CONFIG struct, so it is tempting to begin memcpy at the address of
the first array and overwrite both of them at once. However, FSP_M_CONFIG
is not declared with the packed attribute, so this is not guaranteed to
work and is undefined behaviour to boot. It is cleaner and less tricky
to copy them independently. The same is true for DqsMapCpu2DramCh0 and
DqsMapCpu2DramCh1, so we change those as well.

Paul Menzel 2e585a12a2 sb/amd/cimx/sb800: Get rid of power button device in coreboot
Apply commit d7b88dcb (mb/google/x86-boards: Get rid of power button
device in coreboot) to AMD Brazos boards [1]:

> As per the ACPI specification, there are two types of power button
> devices:
> 1. Fixed hardware power button
> 2. Generic hardware power button
>
> Fixed hardware power button is added by the OSPM if POWER_BUTTON flag
> is not set in FADT by the BIOS. This device has its programming model
> in PM1x_EVT_BLK. All ACPI compliant OSes are expected to add this
> power button device by default if the power button FADT flag is not
> set.
>
> On the other hand, generic hardware power button can be used by
> platforms if fixed register space cannot be used for the power button
> device. In order to support this, power button device object with HID
> PNP0C0C is expected to be added to ACPI tables. Additionally,
> POWER_BUTTON flag should be set to indicate the presence of control
> method for power button.
[..]
> This change gets rid of the generic hardware power button from all
> google mainboards and relies completely on the fixed hardware power
> button.

The same problem exists with the AMD Hudson devices in coreboot.

For AMD Hudson (2) and Yangtze based devices this was removed in commit
44f2fab8 (AMD hudson and yangtze boards: Let mainboard declare power
button) [2].

Maxim Polyakov 16a1181615 mb/asrock/h110m: Add PEG Gen3 support
This patch adds support PCIe Gen 3 with 8GT/s link speed for PEG x16
slot. All parameters for FSP are set during initialization in
romstage. Now there is no need to additionally configure the FSP
before building the ROM image.

Tested on Intel Core i5-6600 processor with the following devices:
  - LP11000e Fibre Channel HBA (Gen2 x8);
  - PEX8734 PCIe Fabric/Switch (Gen3 x16);
  - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU (Gen3 x16).

GPU works with an nouveau and proprietary driver under Ubuntu 18.04.2
(4.15.0-46-generic GNU/Linux kernel). Discrete graphic card is used
as primary device for display output. Dynamic switching is not yet
supported.

Tianocore (edk2-stable201811-216-g51be9d0) is used as the payload.

Nico Huber 9faae2b939 Kconfig: Unify power-after-failure options
The newest and most useful incarnation was hiding in soc/intel/common/.
We move it into the Mainboard menu and extend it with various flags to
be selected to control the default and which options are visible. Also
add a new `int` config MAINBOARD_POWER_FAILURE_STATE that moves the
boolean to int conversion into Kconfig:
  0 - S5
  1 - S0
  2 - previous state

This patch focuses on the Kconfig code. The C code could be unified as
well, e.g. starting with a common enum and safe wrapper around the
get_option() call.

TEST=Did what-jenkins-does with and without this commit and compared
     binaries. Nothing changed for the default configurations.

Tristan Corrick d3f01b21fa sb/intel/lynxpoint: Handle H81 only having 6 PCIe root ports
The H81 chipset is the only non-LP Lynx Point chipset with 6 PCIe root
ports, all others have 8 [1]. The existing PCIe code assumed that all
non-LP chipsets had 8 root ports, which meant that port 6 would not be
considered the last root port on H81, so `root_port_commit_config()`
would not run. Ultimately, while PCIe still worked on H81, all the root
ports would remain enabled, even if disabled in the devicetree.

Also, remove `PCI_DEVICE_ID_INTEL_LYNXPOINT_MOB_DESK_{MIN,MAX}`, as they
are unused, and the MAX constant is incorrect.

Interestingly, this fixes an issue where GRUB is unable to halt the
system.

Tested on an ASRock H81M-HDS. The root ports disabled in the devicetree
do indeed end up disabled.

Angel Pons cea8493285 southbridge/intel/bd82x6x/Kconfig: Do not include any IFD by default
Since only a handful of boards have descriptor blobs in the tree, it makes no
sense to have `HAVE_IFD_BIN` enabled by default then disabled on each mainboard.
This patch flips the default value of said variable, rendering all current
overrides unnecessary. The few boards which have an IFD in the blobs repo use
`select HAVE_IFD_BIN` to enable adding the IFD by default.

Since `HAVE_ME_BIN` depends on `HAVE_IFD_BIN`, the former has been removed
alongside the latter, and has been added to the boards with a ME blob as
`select HAVE_ME_BIN`.

Both `HAVE_IFD_BIN` and `HAVE_ME_BIN` have been removed from autoport as well.

Nico Huber ff4025c5f7 sb/intel/bd82x6x: Reduce function-disable mess
Most affected boards set the function disabled (FD) register to an
arbitrary state dumped from systems running the vendor BIOS. This
makes it impossible to enable the devices in devicetree and a pretty
big mess of course because nobody cared to keep the register in sync
with the devicetree.

To get completely rid of most of the writes to FD, move setting of
PCH_DISABLE_ALWAYS into the southbridge code where it belongs.

With reset default of the clockgen on this board the SATA clock which

This explains why SATA was originally tested to be working but fails

Kyösti Mälkki cd7578030b AGESA f14: Sacrifice ACPI S3 support for EARLY_CBMEM_INIT
A decision has been made that boards with LATE_CBMEM_INIT
will be dropped from coreboot master starting with next
release scheduled for October 2017.

As existing implementation of CAR teardown in AGESA can only
do either EARLY_CBMEM_INIT or ACPI S3 support, choose the former.

ACPI S3 support may be brought back at a later date for
these platforms but that requires fair amount of work fixing
the MTRR issues causing low-memory corruptions.

Kyösti Mälkki 28c4d2f7e0 AGESA: Introduce AGESA_LEGACY_WRAPPER and its counterpart
We define AGESA_LEGACY_WRAPPER a method of calling AGESA
via functions in agesawrapper.c file. The approach implemented
there makes it very inconvenient to do board-specific
customisation or present common platform-specific features.
Seems like it also causes assertion errors on AGESA side.
The flag is applied here to all boards and then individually
removed one at a time, as things get tested.

New method is not to call AGESA internal functions directly,
but via the dispatcher. AGESA call parameters are routed to
hooks in both platform and board -directories, to allow for
easy capture or modification as needed.

For each AGESA dispatcher call made, eventlog entries are
replayed to the console log. Also relocations of AGESA heap
that took place are recorded.

New method is expected to be compatible with binaryPI.

This board features a G41 northbridge and an ICH7 southbridge. This
board has slots for both DDR2 and DDR3 (cannot run concurrently
though) but only DDR2 is implemented in coreboot. The SPI flash
resides in a DIP-8 socket.

Tested and working:
* DDR2 dual channel (PC2 5300 and PC2 6400, though raminit is picky
  with assymetric dimm setups);
* 3,5" IDE;
* SATA;
* PCIe x16 (with some patches up for review);
* Uart, PS2 Keyboard;
* USB, ethernet, audio;
* Native graphic init;
* Fan control;
* Reboot, poweroff, S3 resume;
* Flashrom (vendor and coreboot).

Tested but fails:
* DDR3 (not implemented in coreboot).

Tests were run with SeaBIOS and Debian sid, using Linux 4.9.0.

We start by creating per-family romstage.c file, which
boards will gradually take into use by removing the
AGESA_LEGACY Kconfig option we here apply to all of them.

Nico Huber d23ee5de22 mainboard: Clean up boot_option/reboot_bits in cmos.layout
Since commit 3bfd7cc (drivers/pc80: Rework normal / fallback selector
code) the reboot counter stored in `reboot_bits` isn't reset on a reboot
with `boot_option = 1` any more. Hence, with SKIP_MAX_REBOOT_CNT_CLEAR
enabled, later stages (e.g. payload, OS) have to clear the counter too,
when they want to switch to normal boot. So change the bits to (h)ex
instead of (r)eserved.

To clarify their meaning, rename `reboot_bits` to `reboot_counter`. Also
remove all occurences of the obsolete `last_boot` bit that have sneaked
in again since 24391321 (mainboard: Remove last_boot NVRAM option).

Fix up the following two checkpatch.pl errors manually.

```
ERROR: that open brace { should be on the previous line
#1219: FILE: src/mainboard/gigabyte/ga_2761gxdk/irq_tables.c:129:
+			uint8_t reg[8] =
+			    { 0x41, 0x42, 0x43, 0x44, 0x60, 0x61, 0x62, 0x63 };
ERROR: that open brace { should be on the previous line
#1221: FILE: src/mainboard/gigabyte/ga_2761gxdk/irq_tables.c:131:
+			    { 0x0A, 0X0B, 0X0, 0X0a, 0X0B, 0X05, 0X0, 0X07 };
```

This is needed, so that follow-up commits, fixing checkpatch.pl errors
and warnings, won’t run into conflicts with the git commit hooks, when
for example, spaces instead of tabs are used for indentation.

All boards now include multi-core dispatcher, it has minimal footprint:

Martin Roth f77516cb6d ACPI: Work around IASL warning reading/writing same register
The newer versions of IASL are unhappy when an operator
has the same object as both source and destination.

The warning can be completely disabled with a command
line argument, but in general, I'd really rather not
just disable warnings.

The bits in this register are write 1 to clear, so reading and
writing the same register is what we want to do. Instead, store
it in a temporary register then write it in a second operation.

Tobias Diedrich 6a4d6825ac amd/family14: Add k10temp thermal zone.
The thermal sensor interface exposed in function 3 of the northbridge is
a more convenient and faster way to access the processor-internal
thermal sensor than using the SMBus/SB-TSI interface from the FCH, see
the Family14 BKDG: "Tctl is a processor temperature control value used
for processor thermal management. Tctl is accessible through SB-TSI and
D18F3xA4[CurTmp]. Tctl is a temperature on its own scale aligned to the
processors cooling requirements"

Also on at least some of these boards the existing thermal zone is
broken and always returns 40C (the default value if the SMBus read
failed) because the SMBus muxing register (SmBus0Sel) is not set up
correctly.

Case in point: The fallback "smbus read failed" temperature is 40 C and
the the logs taken from the board status repository for the Asrock
E350M1 board all show: "ACPI: Thermal Zone [TZ00] (40 C)"
