c450fbe909 Stoney Ridge Platforms: Make AGESA callout tables common
There was no reason to have the AGESA callout tables in each mainboard,
so move them to soc/amd/common.

Move chip specific functions into the stoneyridge directory:
- agesa_fch_initreset
- agesa_fch_initenv
- agesa_ReadSpd

Combine agesa_ReadSpd and agesa_ReadSpd_from_cbfs, and figure out which
to use.

Soldered-down memory still needs to be supported in a future commit, as
stoney supports both DDR3 & DDR4. A bug has been filed for support for
the upcoming Grunt platform.

b29078e401 mb/*/*: Remove rtc nvram configurable baud rate
There have been discussions about removing this since it does not seem
to be used much and only creates troubles for boards without defaults,
not to mention that it was configurable on many boards that do not
even feature uart.

It is still possible to configure the baudrate through the Kconfig

390ba044dc AGESA binaryPI: Consolidate and fix sleep states
SSFG was meant to be used as a mask to enable sleep states
_S1 thru _S4. However as a logical instead of bitwise 'and'
operation was used, all the states were enabled if only
one was marked available.

State _S3 is now set conditionally if HAVE_ACPI_RESUME=y.
For pi/hudson this had been fixed already preprocessor.

Note that all boards had SSFG == 0x0D that previously
enabled ACPI S3 sleep state even when it was not available.
States _S1 and _S2 still appear enabled in ASL/AML

removed from the list of available sleep states.

cd7578030b AGESA f14: Sacrifice ACPI S3 support for EARLY_CBMEM_INIT
A decision has been made that boards with LATE_CBMEM_INIT
will be dropped from coreboot master starting with next
release scheduled for October 2017.

As existing implementation of CAR teardown in AGESA can only
do either EARLY_CBMEM_INIT or ACPI S3 support, choose the former.

ACPI S3 support may be brought back at a later date for
these platforms but that requires fair amount of work fixing
the MTRR issues causing low-memory corruptions.

903ce25040 binaryPI: Introduce BINARYPI_LEGACY_WRAPPER and its counterpart
We define BINARYPI_LEGACY_WRAPPER a method of calling AGESA
via functions in agesawrapper.c file. The approach implemented
there makes it very inconvenient to do board-specific
customisation or present common platform-specific features.
Seems like it also causes assertion errors on AGESA side.
The flag is applied here to all boards and then individually
removed one at a time, as things get tested.

New method is not to call AGESA internal functions directly,
but via the dispatcher. AGESA call parameters are routed to
hooks in both platform and board -directories, to allow for
easy capture or modification as needed.

For each AGESA dispatcher call made, eventlog entries are
replayed to the console log. Also relocations of AGESA heap
that took place are recorded.

New method is expected to be compatible with binaryPI.

9df969aebf soc/amd/common: Convert to C_ENVIRONMENT_BOOTBLOCK
Add dedicated CAR setup and teardown functions and Kconfig
options to force their inclusion into the build. The .S files
are mostly duplicated code from the old cache_as_ram.inc file.

The .S files use global proc names in anticipation for use with
the Kconfig symbols C_ENVIRONMENT_BOOTBLOCK and POSTCAR_STAGE.

Move the mainboard romstage functionality into the soc directory
and change the function name to be compatible with the call
from assembly_entry.S. Drop the BIST check like other devices.

Move InitReset and InitEarly to bootblock. These AGESA entry
points set some default settings, and release/recapture the
AP cores. There are currently some early dependencies on
InitReset.  Future work should include:
 * Pull the necessary functionality from InitReset into bootblock
 * Move InitReset and InitEarly to car_stage_entry() and out of
   bootblock
   - Add a mechanism for the BSP to give the APs an address
     to call and skip most of bootblock and verstage (when
     available) (1)
   - Reunify BiosCallOuts.c and OemCustomize.c

(1) During the InitReset call, the BSP enables the APs by setting
    core enable bits in F18F0x1DC and APs begin fetching/executing
    from the reset vector. The BSP waits for all APs to also
    reach InitReset, where they enter an endless loop. The BSP
    sends a command to them to execute a HLT instruction and the
    BSP eventually returns from InitReset. The goal would be to
    preserve this process but prevent APs from rerunning early
    code.

Calling disable_cache_as_ram() with valuables in stack is not
a stable solution, as per documentation AMD_DISABLE_STACK

While we still preserve cache contents (there is wbinvd deep

teardown sequence in AGESA specifications.

We now somewhat incorrectly include files from agesa/ tree,
but the whole agesawrapper.c file removal will address the
issue of overall directory layout.

42b37f537f clang: Allow initializer overrides
In the code we do the following in a number of places
to pre-initialize an array with a certain value before
overwriting some of the array with other values:

 u8 mainboard_picr_data[FCH_INT_TABLE_SIZE] = {
    [0 ... FCH_INT_TABLE_SIZE-1] = 0x1F,
 }

clang does not like that behavior unless we specify
the option -Wno-initializer-overrides.

Remove the check for gcc in those places, too, because
 1) it would silently change array contents between compilers
 2) the check isn't sufficient to determine compilation on
    clang vs gcc

e4d7abc0d4 lib: provide clearer devicetree semantics
The devicetree data structures have been available in more than just
ramstage and romstage. In order to provide clearer and consistent
semantics two new macros are provided:

1. DEVTREE_EARLY which is true when !ENV_RAMSTAGE
2. DEVTREE_CONST as a replacment for ROMSTAGE_CONST

The ROMSTAGE_CONST attribute is used in the source code to mark
the devicetree data structures as const in early stages even though
it's not just romstage. Therefore, rename the attribute to
DEVTREE_CONST as that's the actual usage. The only place where the
usage was not devicetree related is console_loglevel, but the same
name was used for consistency. Any stage that is not ramstage has
the const C attribute applied when DEVTREE_CONST is used.

We define AGESA_LEGACY as an implementation of mainboard

We start by creating per-family romstage.c file, which
boards will gradually take into use by removing the
AGESA_LEGACY Kconfig option we here apply to all of them.

This is because I needed to exchange CIMX

4bbea90417 amd/gardenia: Correct SPD AGESA callout
Gardenia makes no special considerations for a board_id regarding
SPD access and addressing. Remove this from the source and use
the standard AGESA call.

Make SPD address changes to devicetree.cb. Note that Gardenia is
designed to be a two channel, single DIMM/channel system (some SKUs
with two DIMMs on the second channel). However, this port is for
the Stoney processor which is a single channel. As a result, the
second DIMM slot is not usable. A future improvement could involve
a port using a different processor, with unique devicetree files
for each.

d23ee5de22 mainboard: Clean up boot_option/reboot_bits in cmos.layout
Since commit 3bfd7cc (drivers/pc80: Rework normal / fallback selector
code) the reboot counter stored in `reboot_bits` isn't reset on a reboot
with `boot_option = 1` any more. Hence, with SKIP_MAX_REBOOT_CNT_CLEAR
enabled, later stages (e.g. payload, OS) have to clear the counter too,
when they want to switch to normal boot. So change the bits to (h)ex
instead of (r)eserved.

To clarify their meaning, rename `reboot_bits` to `reboot_counter`. Also
remove all occurences of the obsolete `last_boot` bit that have sneaked
in again since 24391321 (mainboard: Remove last_boot NVRAM option).

95fe8fb1e0 mainboard: Format irq_tables.c
Run the command below to format the files `irq_tables.c` of (mostly AMD)
mainboards correctly with GNU indent 2.2.10.

```
$ git grep -l 'if (sum != pirq->checksum) {' | xargs indent -l
```

Fix up the following two checkpatch.pl errors manually.

```
ERROR: that open brace { should be on the previous line
#1219: FILE: src/mainboard/gigabyte/ga_2761gxdk/irq_tables.c:129:
+			uint8_t reg[8] =
+			    { 0x41, 0x42, 0x43, 0x44, 0x60, 0x61, 0x62, 0x63 };
ERROR: that open brace { should be on the previous line
#1221: FILE: src/mainboard/gigabyte/ga_2761gxdk/irq_tables.c:131:
+			uint8_t irq[8] =
+			    { 0x0A, 0X0B, 0X0, 0X0a, 0X0B, 0X05, 0X0, 0X07 };
```

This is needed, so that follow-up commits, fixing checkpatch.pl errors
and warnings, won’t run into conflicts with the git commit hooks, when
for example, spaces instead of tabs are used for indentation.

d83b0e9ac4 mainboard/amd: add support for F2950 system board
F2950 SBC, also known as TONK 1201/TONK 1202, was originally
produced as a Centerm F2950 using DB800 reference design. Common
configuration does include a 600 MHz GeodeLX CPU underclocked to
500 or 400 MHz, 128 or 512 MiB of RAM in the single SODIMM slot and
128 or 512 MB IDE DOM. The board does have three USB 2.0 ports
(none of them possessing debug capabilities), PS/2, VGA, Geode
audio in/out and the serial port.

EEPROM needs to be soldered out and flashed externally at the time
of this message because flashrom would neither be able to dump BIOS
correctly while running vendor BIOS nor write flash contents.

All peripherals were tested against Linux 3.16 and seem to work
flawlessly. At the moment of this commit coreboot does not pass
PCI_COMMAND_IO from the configuration space to SeaBIOS, thereby
preventing VGA OPROM from being executed. This would be fixed in
the SeaBIOS itself or in a subsequent commit. As a workaround,
user may put VGA OPROM to vgaroms/seavgabios.bin in CBFS.

Optimize this manually by configuring AGESA_ENTRY booleans for

All boards now include multi-core dispatcher, it has minimal footprint:

1e1c7ac3b4 southbridge/amd/sb600: Update HPET base address with #define
The SB600 code had the base address of the HPET hardcoded throughout.
It looks like the plan was to have it be updated in ACPI if needed,
but this wasn't ever implemented. The variable names being used to
do this update were the same, causing an IASL warning. Because of
this, the operation to update the HPET address actually did nothing.
This was fine, because it didn't actually need to be updated.

- Replace all that code with a #define.
- Add and update some comments in the same area.

Fixes IASL warning:

f77516cb6d ACPI: Work around IASL warning reading/writing same register
The newer versions of IASL are unhappy when an operator
has the same object as both source and destination.

The warning can be completely disabled with a command
line argument, but in general, I'd really rather not
just disable warnings.

The bits in this register are write 1 to clear, so reading and
writing the same register is what we want to do. Instead, store
it in a temporary register then write it in a second operation.

6a4d6825ac amd/family14: Add k10temp thermal zone.
The thermal sensor interface exposed in function 3 of the northbridge is
a more convenient and faster way to access the processor-internal
thermal sensor than using the SMBus/SB-TSI interface from the FCH, see
the Family14 BKDG: "Tctl is a processor temperature control value used
for processor thermal management. Tctl is accessible through SB-TSI and
D18F3xA4[CurTmp]. Tctl is a temperature on its own scale aligned to the
processors cooling requirements"

Also on at least some of these boards the existing thermal zone is
broken and always returns 40C (the default value if the SMBus read
failed) because the SMBus muxing register (SmBus0Sel) is not set up
correctly.

Case in point: The fallback "smbus read failed" temperature is 40 C and
the the logs taken from the board status repository for the Asrock
E350M1 board all show: "ACPI: Thermal Zone [TZ00] (40 C)"

6bd016cae8 amd/bettong: Enable fan control
1. Use enable_imc_thermal_zone to enable fan control.
2. The ACPI method ITZE works on Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 7
but does not work on Windows 8, so I didn't use it.
After this issue is fixed, I'll add ACPI_ENABLE_THERMAL_ZONE
in bettong/Kconfig.
3. Fan control works on Bettong. I used "APU Validation Toolkit"
to test on Windows 8. This tool can put load to APU. The fan's
behaviour is just like bettong/fchec.c defined. When the temperature
is 40 Celsius, the fan start to run.

b890a1228d Remove address from GPLv2 headers
As per discussion with lawyers[tm], it's not a good idea to
shorten the license header too much - not for legal reasons
but because there are tools that look for them, and giving
them a standard pattern simplifies things.

However, we got confirmation that we don't have to update
every file ever added to coreboot whenever the FSF gets a
new lease, but can drop the address instead.

util/kconfig is excluded because that's imported code that
we may want to synchronize every now and then.

13e4182119 kbuild: automatically include southbridges
This change switches all southbridge vendors and southbridges
to be autoincluded by Makefile.inc, rather than having to be
mentioned explicitly in southbridge/Makefile.inc or in
southbridge/<vendor>/Makefile.inc.

In order to be able to drop southbridge/amd/Makefile.inc, some
scattered source files had to be moved to a southbridge/amd/common
directory, in accordance to what we are doing on other architectures
already.

This means, vendor and southbridge directories are now "drop
in", e.g. be placed in the coreboot directory hierarchy
without having to modify any higher level coreboot files.

The long term plan is to enable out of tree components to be
built with a given coreboot version (given that the API did not
change).

evaluate it more efficiently (not recalculating the address between the

4b45dd3253 cpu/amd/pi: Add amd_initcpuio() and amd_initmmio()
This makes the change to the cpu/amd/pi/00730F01 that was
made for the cpu/amd/agesa based boards in:
    commit 48518f0d
    AGESA: Add amd_initcpuio() and amd_initmmio()
    These are not wrappers for AGESA as they do not enter vendorcode at all.
    We expect most of the added fixme.c file to be written without use of AMDLIB.h
    and parts relocated as northbridge enable_resources().

The equivalent change has already been made for cpu/amd/pi/00630F01.

069f4766a0 mainboard: Drop print_ implementation from non-romcc boards
Because we had no stack on romcc boards, we had a separate, not as
powerful clone of printk: print_*. Back in the day, like more than
half a decade ago, we migrated a lot of boards to printk, but we never
cleaned up the existing code to be consistent. instead, we worked around
the problem with a very messy console.h (nowadays the mess is hidden in
romstage_console.c and early_print.h)
This patch cleans up the mainboard code to use printk() on all non-ROMCC
boards.

Fix system include paths to be consistent. Chipset support is
part of the Coreboot 'system' and hence 'non-local' (i.e., in

makes mainboard's consistent.

87543425d7 AMD 00730F01: Topology changes required by KaveriPI v1.1.0.7 update
The updated KaveriPI binary, upgrading to v1.1.0.7, requires changes
to define the PSP device (PCI 0:08.0) and the IOMMU device (PCI 0:00.2).
In the new AGESA binary, the IOMMU device is enabled and must be
disabled in devicetree.cb and agesawrapper_amdinitenv() to maintain
the same level of functionality.

546953c0c5 Replace hlt with halt()
There were instances of unneeded arch/hlt.h includes,
various hlt() calls that weren't supposed to exit (but
might have) and various forms of endless loops around
hlt() calls.

All these are sorted out now: unnecessary includes are
dropped, hlt() is uniformly replaced with halt() (except
in assembly, obviously).

To backport features introduced with recent Chromebooks and/or Intel

members have little means to verify, debug and develop for the said

Thus it makes sense to fork the existing agesawrapper interfaces, to give
AMD PI platforms a clean and independent sandbox. New directory layout
reflects the separation already taken place under 3rdparty/ and vendorcode/.
