The corresponding bit is marked as reserved in the following versions of
the documentation for all SoCs using this code:
Mullins: BKDG #52740 Rev 3.05
Stoneyridge: BKDG #55072 Rev 3.04
Raven1, Picasso: PPR #55570 Rev 3.16 & 3.18
Raven2: PPR #55772 Rev 3.08
Cezanne: PPR #56569 Rev 3.03
The old Rev 3.14 of the Picasso PPR #55570 had the bit 19 defined as
PullUpSel, but this is no longer the case in newer versions. It is
unclear if this got de-featured or if it was never present in the
silicon. To be consistent with the current documentation, drop this
define.
This patch also change the definition of GPIO_PULL_MASK to only cover
the bits used for the feature. The Cezanne PPR #56569 Rev 3.03 states a
default value of 0 for this bit after reset, so the resulting values in
the register aren't expected change. The other PPRs/BKDGs don't specify
a reset value for this bit, but it's likely safe to assume that all SoCs
that use the new GPIO interface use the same GPIO building block.

In 58555, we added the SOC ID for Stoneyridge in amdfwtool
command line. But it raised building error because it then called
"set_efs_table" without setting SPI mode. So we skipped calling that.
But in set_efs_table, it has case for Stoneyridge. The boards also
need to have this setting. So we remove the skipping and give the
proper SPI mode in mainboard Kconfig.

Now that CBFS has this functionality built in, we no longer need to
manually code it.
payload_preload used to use the payload_preload_cache region to store
the raw payload contents. This region was placed outside the firmware
reserved region, so it was available for use by the OS. This was
possible because the payload isn't loaded again on S3 resume.
cbfs_preload only uses the cbfs_cache region. This region must be
reserved because it gets used on the S3 resume path. Unfortunately this
means that cbfs_cache must be increased to hold the payload. Cezanne is
the only platform currently using payload_preload, and the size of
cbfs_cache has already been adjusted.
In the future we could look into adding an option to cbfs_preload that
would allow it to use a different memory pool for the cache allocation.

boot process failing elsewhere where it may not be obvious that the
failed multi-processor initialization step was the root cause of that.
I'm not 100% sure if calling do_cold_reset or calling die_with_post_code

likely result in a boot-failure loop, so I call die_with_post_code here.

All x86-based CPUs and SoCs in the coreboot tree end up including the
Makefile in cpu/x86/mtrr, so include this directly in the Makefile in
cpu/x86 to add it for all x86 CPUs/SoCs. In the unlikely case that a new
x86 CPU/SoC will be added, a CPU_X86_MTRR Kconfig option that is
selected be default could be added and the new CPU/SoC without MTRR
support can override this option that then will be used in the Makefile
to guard adding the Makefile from the cpu/x86/mtrr sub-directory.
In cpu/intel all models except model 2065X and 206AX are selcted by a
socket and rely on the socket's Makefile.inc to add x86/mtrr to the
subdirs, so those models don't add x86/mtrr themselves. The Intel
Broadwell SoC selects CPU_INTEL_HASWELL and which added x86/mtrr to the
subdirs. The Intel Xeon SP SoC directory contains two sub-folders for
different versions or generations which both add x86/mtrr to the subdirs
in their Makefiles.

Each CPU/SoC checks the return value of the mp_init_with_smm and prints
the same error message if it wasn't successful, so move this check and
printk to mp_init_with_smm. For this the original mp_init_with_smm
function gets renamed to do_mp_init_with_smm and a new mp_init_with_smm
function is created which then calls do_mp_init_with_smm, prints the
error if it didn't return CB_SUCCESS and passes the return value of
do_mp_init_with_smm to its caller.
Since no CPU/SoC code handles a mp_init_with_smm failure apart from
printing a message, also add a comment at the mp_init_with_smm call

implements this functionality as read_resources function of the I2C

Some AMD SoCs have a 5th GPIO bank, the remote GPIO bank, which isn't
located right after the 4th GPIO bank, but instead at a different
location inside the APCIMMIO region. A difference to the first 4 GPIO
banks is that the corresponding GPIO MUX registers aren't in a separate
bank, but at the end of the remote GPIO region. So this remote GPIO
region only supports 48 GPIOs with a 32 bit configuration register each
and has the 8 bit GPIO MUX registers beginning at offset 0xc0 in the
remote GPIO region.
For now using the remote GPIOs from verstage on PSP isn't supported. To
support this, it would need to map acpimmio_remote_gpio and update the
pointer like it already does for acpimmio_gpio0, acpimmio_iomux and a
few others.

No need to do raw GPIO MMIO accesses when basically the same
functionality can be achieved by using existing APIs. Using the existing
GPIO API instead of raw GPIO MMIO register accesses allows containing
all direct GPIO MMIO accesses inside the common AMD GPIO code which will
be done in subsequent patches. Since the value parameter of gpio_set is
int, change the type of the val parameter of drive_scl to int as well
even though I'm not sure why a signed integer was used for this in the
common GPIO API. Since program_gpios already configures the SCL GPIOs as
outputs, gpio_set can be used in drive_scl which only sets the output
value, but doesn't configure the direction.
TEST=The waveform on the SCL pin of I2C3 on a barla/careena Chromebook
looks similar to the same as before during the reset_i2c_peripherals
call, but due to the additional overhead of the read-modify-write to the
GPIO register instead of just a write, the pulse width gets about 50%
longer. Since the udelay call in drive_scl still has an open TODO to
make this configurable and the pulses being longer is in the safe side,
this side-effect can be addressed in a follow-up patch.

drive_scl in soc/amd/common/block/i2c/i2c.c writes the raw GPIO MMIO
configuration register and drives it as output, so don't initially
configure the GPIO as input with no pull up/down. This is a preparation
to use the common AMD GPIO access functions instead of the raw register
accesses, since the gpio_set function only sets the output value, but
doesn't reconfigure the direction. Using gpio_output there instead would
reconfigure the direction as well, but would result in doubling the
number of MMIO accesses, so just configure the GPIOs correctly right
away to avoid that.

When modules are added to the FSP and they won't fit into the FSP binary
any more, the size can be increased in the FSP build. Especially in the
case of debug builds the increased size might not fit into the memory
region it gets decompressed into which starts at FSP_M_ADDR and has a
size of FSP_M_SIZE. SoCs can implement the soc_validate_fspm_header
function that ends up being called by the FSP driver in romstage to do
some additional checks on the FSP binary's header that includes the
version number and the image size. We can use the image size field to
check if it fits into the reserved region. Since the FSP-M memory region
is located after romstage loading it won't clobber the romstage code
where we do the check.
This runtime check is added in addition to the build-time check to also
cover the case when the FSP binaries in CBFS get replaced with ones that
don't fit into the reserved memory region after the coreboot build.

For some reason the assert in thread_coop_enable is firing when
releasing the console_lock spin lock. I'm assuming cpu_info hasn't been
initialized yet. The assert tries to perform a printk, but since the
console_lock is still held we end up in a dead lock. This dead lock will
generally not happen after a warm reset. Again I'm assuming because the
cpu_info struct has some valid values at this point.
For now disable multi-tasking until we fix the cpu_info initialization.

A valid GEVENT number is never negative. The local variable in

when trying to build as a 64 bit binary, since the size of an uintptr_t

It appears the pspp_policy enum is not the same as the FSP definition
currently being used. This means that the incorrect PSPP value setting
would get read by FSP. For Zork programs this meant we actually were
setting links as DXIO_PSPP_BALANCED instead of DXIO_PSPP_POWERSAVE.
This change adds DXIO_PSPP_DISABLED as the first enum value to properly
match the FSP definition and adjusts non AMD Customer Reference Boards
that reference the enum to still send the same value even though it has
now change definitions. If we actually want DXIO_PSPP_POWERSAVE for
those boards that can be adjusted in a future change.

Allow hot plug devices to subscribe to IOMMU services. Currently the
IOMMU end range is limited to device B:0 D:1f F:6. This prevents the
devices on bus 1 and higher to subscribe to IOMMU services. As per AMD
IOMMU spec v3 section 5.2.2.1 all possible device IDs must be defined,
whether the device ID is actually populated or not. Device entries are
used to report ranges when hot-plug and SR-IOV devices are possible.
