0cca6e24b7 ACPI: Fix DSDT's revision field
DSDT revision is =1 for ACPI v1 and =2 for greater ACPI version.
This will cause the AML interpreter to use 32-bit integers and math
if the version is 1, and 64-bit if the version is >=2.
Current spec version is 2 for ACPI 6.2-a.

b2632cec0e sb/intel/lynxpoint: Generate the ACPI FADT with a common function
The function `acpi_fill_fadt()` is based on that of sb/intel/bd82x6x.

Tested on an ASRock H81M-HDS and a Google Peppy board, both using Linux
4.9 with `acpi=strict`. No ACPI errors or warnings appear in the kernel
log. System reset, poweroff, and S3 suspend/resume continue to work.

General improvements
--------------------

- `fadt->preferred_pm_profile` is set based on the value of
  `CONFIG_SYSTEM_TYPE_LAPTOP` instead of being hardcoded.

- Constants are used instead of magic values in more locations.

- `fadt->gpe0_blk`, `fadt->gpe0_blk_len`, and `fadt->x_gpe0_blk` are set
  appropriately depending on whether the system uses Lynx Point LP or
  not.

- Boards can indicate docking support in the FADT via the devicetree.

Changes to existing Lynx Point boards
-------------------------------------

- `header->asl_compiler_revision` changes from 1 to 0.

- `fadt->model` is left at 0 instead of being set to 1. This field is
  only needed for ACPI 1.0 compatibility.

- `fadt->flush_size` and `fadt->flush_stride` are set to 0. This is
  because their values are ignored, since `ACPI_FADT_WBINVD` is set in
  `fadt->flags`.

- `fadt->duty_offset` is set to 0 instead of 1. None of the existing
  boards indicate support for changing the processor duty cycle (as
  `fadt->duty_width` is set to 0), so `fadt->duty_offset` does not
  currently need to be set.

- Access sizes of registers are set.

- On mb/intel/baskingridge, the pmbase is now read using the common
  function `get_pmbase()` instead of `pci_read_config16(...)`.

- On mb/intel/baskingridge, the value of `fadt->x_gpe0_blk.bit_width`
  changes from 64 to 128. The correct value should be 128 (bits), to
  match `fadt->gpe0_blk_len`, which is set to 16 (bytes).

- On Lynx Point LP systems, the unused extended address
  `fadt->x_gpe0_blk` sets its address space ID to be consistent with
  other unused extended addresses. Such a change should not alter the
  interpretation of the registers as being unused. Why not set them all
  to zero? Simply because the existing practice, in both coreboot and
  some other vendors' firmware, has them set in such a case.

A diff of the FADT from a Google Peppy board is below:

Earlier Intel platforms have similar implementations of this function.
The common implementation might only need minor alterations to support
them.

issues arose from this patch.

f3127d4af7 sb/intel/lynxpoint: Automatically generate the ACPI PCI routing table
This patch is based on a8a9f34e9b ("sb/intel/i82801{g,j}x:
Automatically generate ACPI PIRQ tables")

Tested on an ASRock H81M-HDS. The generated _PRT object looks correct,
and the system doesn't show any issue when running. The following
assignments occur:

	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:02.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:03.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:14.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:16.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1a.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1b.0: pin=0 pirq=6
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1c.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1c.1: pin=1 pirq=1
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1c.2: pin=2 pirq=2
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1c.3: pin=3 pirq=3
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1d.0: pin=0 pirq=7
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1f.2: pin=1 pirq=3
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1f.3: pin=2 pirq=2

Also tested on a Google Peppy board. The following assignments occur:

	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:02.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:03.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:14.0: pin=0 pirq=2
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1b.0: pin=0 pirq=6
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1c.0: pin=0 pirq=0
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1d.0: pin=0 pirq=3
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1f.2: pin=0 pirq=6
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1f.3: pin=1 pirq=2
	ACPI_PIRQ_GEN: PCI: 00:1f.6: pin=2 pirq=1

A diff of the _PRT object for the Google Peppy board is below. The code
used in the diff has been modified for clarity, but the semantics remain
the same. To summarise the diff:

* The disabled PCIe root ports are no longer included.

* The LPC controller is no longer included, as it has no interrupt pin.
  The pins for the remaining LPC devices are each one less. Perhaps the
  original _PRT object was incorrect?

* The SDIO device is no longer included, as it is disabled.

* The Serial IO devices are no longer included, but that is due to a
  separate issue I am having with this system (the devices don't show up
  under Linux regardless of this patch). In short: their omission is not
  a fault of this patch.

The E3827 and E3845 SKUs are fused at 1333MHz DDR3 speeds.
Use frequency as a proxy to determine SKU. The E3805, E3815,
E3825, and E3826 are all <= 1460MHz while the E3827 and E3845
are 1750MHz and 1910MHz, respectively. This will allow to boot

d44221f9c8 Move compiler.h to commonlib
Its spreading copies got out of sync. And as it is not a standard header
but used in commonlib code, it belongs into commonlib. While we are at
it, always include it via GCC's `-include` switch.

Some Windows and BSD quirk handling went into the util copies. We always
guard from redefinitions now to prevent further issues.

31bff01a72 soc/intel/.../hda: Add and use config for initialization of HDA codecs
Config option SOC_INTEL_COMMON_BLOCK_HDA is currently used for
initialization of HDA codecs only. This prevents adding of any static
devices under the HDA device node. However, there can be boards which
want to add devices under HDA node (e.g. nocturne that wants to
provide DMIC properties to OS) without performing any codec
initialization using the HDA. This change:

1. Adds a new config option SOC_INTEL_COMMON_BLOCK_HDA_VERB that can
be set explicitly by the boards that want to perform codec
initialization.

2. Uses newly added config option is used to guard the initialization
functions for the codec. Rest of the device operations can still be
used by all the other boards without having to use HDA codec
initialization.

3. Selects the newly added option SOC_INTEL_COMMON_BLOCK_HDA_VERB in
kblrvp which is the only board enabling HDA codec initialization
using common block code.

4. Selects original config SOC_INTEL_COMMON_BLOCK_HDA for skylake SoC.

Above changes need to be bundled and pushed in as a single change in
order to avoid breaking existing users.

cea8493285 southbridge/intel/bd82x6x/Kconfig: Do not include any IFD by default
Since only a handful of boards have descriptor blobs in the tree, it makes no
sense to have `HAVE_IFD_BIN` enabled by default then disabled on each mainboard.
This patch flips the default value of said variable, rendering all current
overrides unnecessary. The few boards which have an IFD in the blobs repo use
`select HAVE_IFD_BIN` to enable adding the IFD by default.

Since `HAVE_ME_BIN` depends on `HAVE_IFD_BIN`, the former has been removed
alongside the latter, and has been added to the boards with a ME blob as
`select HAVE_ME_BIN`.

Both `HAVE_IFD_BIN` and `HAVE_ME_BIN` have been removed from autoport as well.

26475572a7 mb/intel/glkrvp: Get rid of DRIVERS_PS2_KEYBOARD selection
Until now, chromeec was doing keyboard initialization for the boards
that have DRIVERS_PS2_KEYBOARD selected. However, coreboot does not
leave the keyboard controller in a default reset state. This could
result in payloads or OS failing to probe the controller as there
could be stale data buffered in the controller during the handoff.

Since the boards using chromeec already perform keyboard
initialization in payload, there is no need to initialize the
keyboard in coreboot too. This change gets rid of DRIVERS_PS2_KEYBOARD
selection from all google mainboards using chromeec.

a50b1f9dd0 intel bd82x6x/lynxpoint systems: Update ACPI thermal zone handler
Currently the throttle event handler method THRM is defined as an
extern on the intel bd82x6x and lynxpoint chipsets, then defined
again in the platform with thermal event handling. In newer versions
of IASL, this generates an error, as the method is defined in two
places. Simply removing the extern causes the call to it to fail on
platforms where it isn't actually defined, so add a preprocessor define
where it's implemented, and only call the method on those platforms.

This also requires moving the thermal handler, which now includes
the define to before the gnvs asl file.

TEST=Build before and after, make sure correct code is included.

b4953a93aa cpu/x86/mtrr: Get rid of CACHE_ROM_SIZE_OVERRIDE
As far as I can see this Kconfig option was used wrong ever since it
was added. According to the commit message of 107f72e (Re-declare

to prevent overlapping with CAR.

Let's handle the potential overlap in C macros instead and get rid

16a70a48c6 nb/intel/x4x: Change memory layout to improve MTRR
This change also makes sure that the sum the uma regions (TSEG, GSM,
GSM) is 4MiB aligned. This is needed to avoid cbmem_top floating between
2 usable ram region, since cbmem_top is aligned 4MiB down to easy MTRR
setup for ramstage. At least tianocore requires this and fails to boot
without it.

Better MTRR are achieved by making the memory 'hole' till 4GiB exactly
2Gib.

This code mimics how it is done in nb/intel/gm45 and achieves similar
results.

TSEG is enabled and set to 8M since this makes it easier to reuse the
common smm setup / parallel mp code and makes it possible to cache the
ramstage in there like how it's done on newer targets.

TESTED on Intel DG43GT.

0a4e0fd913 cpu/intel/speedstep: Fix the PNOT ACPI method
The PNOT method never notifies the CPU to update it's _CST methods due
to reliance on inexisting variable (PDCx).

Add a method in the speedstep ssdt generator to notify all available
CPU nodes and hook this up in this file.

The cpu.asl file is moved to cpu/intel/speedstep/acpi since it now
relies on code generated in the speedstep ssdt generator. CPUs not
using the speedstep code never included this PNOT method so this is
a logical place for this code to be.

d6f3dd83dc nb/intel/x4x: Disable watchdog, halt TCO timer and clear timeout
Especially on ICH7 failing to do so results in i2c block read being
unusable. On ICH10 this problem doesn't manifest itself that much.

This moves disabling the watchdog reboot to the northbridge code like

TESTED on Intel DG41WV: hacking on raminit is much nicer since no
need to do a hard power down for +4s are needed to clear the timeouts.

4ec3d9d69e boardid: Switch from Kconfig to weak functions
This patch switches the board_id and ram_code helper framework to use
weak functions rather than Kconfigs to determine whether the board
supplies these IDs. This cuts down on the amount of boilerplate Kconfigs
many boards have to set and also gives them more flexibility, such as
being able to determine at runtime whether a given ID is present.

e2f17f782f boardid: Minor clean up and standardization
Merge the different coreboot table strapping ID structures into one
because they're really just all the same, and I want to add more. Make
the signature of the board_id() function return a uint32_t because
that's also what goes in the coreboot table. Add a printk to the generic
code handling strapping IDs in ramstage so that not every individual
mainboard implementation needs its own print. (In turn, remove one such
print from fsp1_1 code because it's in the way of my next patch.)

219ebb969b skylake mainboards: Use PAD_CFG_GPI_GPIO_DRIVER instead of PAD_CFG_GPI
Change 1760cd3e (soc/intel/skylake: Use common/block/gpio) updated all
skylake boards to use common gpio driver. Common gpio code
defines PAD_CFG_GPI without GPIO_DRIVER ownership. However, for
skylake PAD_CFG_GPI set GPIO_DRIVER ownership by default. This
resulted in Linux kernel failing to configure all GPIO IRQs since the
ownership was not set correctly. (Observed error in dmesg: "genirq:
Setting trigger mode 3 for irq 201
failed (intel_gpio_irq_type+0x0/0x110)")

This change fixes the above issue by replacing all uses of PAD_CFG_GPI
in skylake mainboards to PAD_CFG_GPI_GPIO_DRIVER.

BUG=b:67507004
TEST=Verified on soraka that the genirq error is no longer observed in
dmesg. Also, cat /proc/interrupts has the interrupts configured
correctly.

2749c52080 ec/google/chromeec: Add library function google_chromeec_events_init
mainboard_ec_init implemented by all x86-based mainboards using
chromeec performed similar tasks for initializing and recording ec
events. Instead of duplicating this code across multiple boards,
provide a library function google_chromeec_events_init that can be
called by mainboard with appropriate inputs to perform the required
actions.

This change also adds a new structure google_chromeec_event_info to
allow mainboards to provide information required by the library
function to handle different event masks.

Also, google_chromeec_log_device_events and google_chromeec_log_events
no longer need to be exported.

0990fbf2d9 vboot: reset vbnv in cmos when cmos failure occurs
There's an occasional issue on machines which use CMOS for their
vbnv storage. The machine that just powers up from complete G3
would have had their RTC rail not held up. The contents of vbnv
in CMOS could pass the crc8 though the values could be bad. In
order to fix this introduce two functions:

1. vbnv_init_cmos()
2. vbnv_cmos_failed()

At the start of vboot the CMOS is queried for failure. If there
is a failure indicated then the vbnv data is restored from flash
backup or reset to known values when there is no flash backup.

2a4aadab70 mb/intel/dg43gt: Add mainboard
This mainboard features is an G43 northbridge, ICH10 southbridge and
Winbond W83627dhg SuperI/O. This board is impossible to flash
internally with vendor bios (BIOS region is WP and other regions like
IFD and ME are read only and inaccessible respectively). Due to either
ICH10 or board layout it is also impossible to do ISP, which requires
desoldering flash chip. To make hacking more easy there is an empty
SPI header next to spi flash pads which can be hooked up to a SPI
flash.

What works:
* 2 DDR2 dimms per channel (tested with 1+2G in CH0 and 2+2G in CH1);
* SATA with AHCI
* Integrated GPU with option rom (extracted from a Gigabyte vendor
  bios)
* VGA (on DVI) with NGI if patched to use DVI gmbus port for output
* PCI
* Reboot and S3 resume
* Descriptor mode with ME disable straps and ME region absent (no
  working gbe in this configuration though)
* USB.

What does not work:
* GBE (probably requires working ME);
* Analog on DVI port out is shaking, which is not the case with vendor
  BIOS (setting clockgen on smbus 0x69 like vendor fixes it).
* Booting with ME enabled (needs raminit patches for that)

Not tested:
* Sound;
* All the rest.

Not coreboot related problems:
* Flashing this board with vendor bios is a PITA and requires
  desoldering flash chip;
* In situ programming is not possible.

TESTED with SeaBIOS and Linux 4.10.8

80d55b3ef3 mb/intel/d410pt: Add mainboard
This board is almost identical to D510MO, the only differences are
some differences in populated connections, CPU with less L2 cache and
a 10/100 Realtek NIC.

The vendor uses the very same binary for both D510M0 and D410PT.

dd82edc388 lib/spd_bin: make SMBus SPD addresses an input
Instead of assuming the mapping of dimm number to SPD SMBus address,
allow the mainboard to provide its own mapping. That way, global
resources of empty SPD contents aren't wasted in order to address
a dimm on a mainboard that doesn't meet the current assumption.
