653f760b13 amd/stoneyridge: Construct ACPI BERT table
Add a Boot Error Record Table to the ACPI information. Avoid a driver
error message by skipping the table altogether when no errors are found,
or support isn't built in.

BUG=b:65446699

64e1fcaaf9 amd/stoneyridge: Construct BERT region from machine check
Add functions to build a Boot Error Record Table region based on
settings found in the MCA registers.

Two entries are reported for each error due to the nature of the ACPI
driver. The first is a Generic Processor Error, which the OS recognizes
and parses. Generic errors cannot convey much error description or
processor context. Therefore an IA32/X64 Processor Error is also added,
which allows reporting the values found in the MCA MSR registers.

Follow-on work could decode the MC errors more precisely, and better
completing the Generic Error and the Check structure. The current
level of support is sufficient to identify a (i.e., human readable)
problem in dmesg, and provides adequate context information for
analysis.

ACPI 5.0 defines a method _CPC for "Continuous Performance Control" (CPPC).

5d6593a43c arm64: Factor out common parts of romstage execution flow
The romstage main() entry point on arm64 boards is usually in mainboard
code, but there are a handful of lines that are always needed in there
and not really mainboard specific (or chipset specific). We keep arguing
every once in a while that this isn't ideal, so rather than arguing any
longer let's just fix it. This patch moves the main() function into arch
code with callbacks that the platform can hook into. (This approach can
probably be expanded onto other architectures, so when that happens this
file should move into src/lib.)

Tested on Cheza and Kevin. I think the approach is straight-forward
enough that we can take this without testing every board. (Note that in
a few cases, this delays some platform-specific calls until after
console_init() and exception_init()... since these functions don't
really take that long, especially if there is no serial console
configured, I don't expect this to cause any issues.)

84978674e3 soc/amd/common/block: Port vendorcode's LibAmdLocateImage
In preparation to removing AmdLib, function LibAmdLocateImage() has to be
ported to be used by agesawrapper. The most important aspect of this porting
is that it has to obey coreboot format, specifically 8 character tab and 80
characters max. This required breaking the function in 2 (to solve
indentation) and rename some variables to shorter names.

One important aspect was breaking
(AMD_MODULE_HEADER*)(((AMD_IMAGE_HEADER *) CurrentPtr)->ModuleInfoOffset)

into:
image_ptr = (AMD_IMAGE_HEADER *) current_ptr;
if (validate_image((void *)image_ptr->ModuleInfoOffset,

and, within validate_image completed by:
AMD_MODULE_HEADER *mod_ptr = (AMD_MODULE_HEADER *)module_chain;

60828b7fa9 rk3288: Dig up two more KB of SRAM from under the couch cushions
RK3288 has always been notoriously low on SRAM, to the point where its
boards have less than 100 bytes left in both their bootblock/verstage
sections. This becomes a problem every time we try to add a tiny amount
of code to common coreboot interfaces that are included in them.

This patch manages to add another KB to each, one from the CBMEM console
(which now might get cut off a bit, but that's life) and one by moving
the TTB_SUBTABLES to PMUSRAM. PMUSRAM is a weird world where write
accesses must always be exactly 4 bytes long or they hang the CPU, so we
mostly ignore it... but thankfully, page table entries are exactly 4
bytes long and that's the only thing we write to this region, so it
works out in this case.

Extend the existing reset handling features in Stoney Ridge to plan for,

Set ColdRstDet=1 after all cores have been initialized, so that any
subsequent reset may be identified as warm/cold. A later patch will check

This patch replaces the UART in the bootblock of SDM845 with a bitbang

is essentially over anyway). This solution allows us to still have some

4a12a56cdf soc/intel/common/block/gpio: Add API for gpio_configure_pads_with_override
This function adds support for gpio_configure_pads_with_override
which:
1. Takes as input two GPIO tables -- base config table and override
config table
2. Configures each pad in base config by first checking if there is a
config available for the pad in override config table. If yes, then
uses the one from override config table. Else, uses the base config to
configure the pad.

This is done to allow sharing of GPIO tables across baseboard-variants
for various boards i.e. Each board can have a base config table which
is provided by the baseboard and an optional override config table
that can be provided by a variant to configure certain GPIOs
differently. It is helpful when the variant GPIO diff list is not very
huge compared to the baseboard.

MT8183 only allows booting from eMMC, so we have to do eMMC emulation

9c462c617e soc/intel/apollolake: Get rid of power button device in coreboot
As per the ACPI specification, there are two types of power button
devices:
1. Fixed hardware power button
2. Generic hardware power button

Fixed hardware power button is added by the OSPM if POWER_BUTTON flag
is not set in FADT by the BIOS. This device has its programming model
in PM1x_EVT_BLK. All ACPI compliant OSes are expected to add this
power button device by default if the power button FADT flag is not
set.

On the other hand, generic hardware power button can be used by
platforms if fixed register space cannot be used for the power button
device. In order to support this, power button device object with HID
PNP0C0C is expected to be added to ACPI tables. Additionally,
POWER_BUTTON flag should be set to indicate the presence of control
method for power button.

Chrome EC mainboards implemented the generic hardware power button in
a broken manner i.e. power button object with HID PNP0C0C is added to
ACPI however none of the boards set POWER_BUTTON flag in FADT. This
results in Linux kernel adding both fixed hardware power button as
well as generic hardware power button to the list of devices present
on the system. Though this is mostly harmless, it is logically
incorrect and can confuse any userspace utilities scanning the ACPI
devices.

This change gets rid of the generic hardware power button from APL
and relies completely on the fixed hardware power button.

BUG=b:110913245
TEST=Verified that fixed hardware power button still works as expected
on octopus.

- Get rid of BDK header
- Add Kconfig for link address
- Move CAR setup code into assembly
- Move unaligned memory access enable into assembly
- Implement custom bootblock entry function
- Add CLIB and CSIB blobs

romstage:
- Use minimal DRAM init only

devicetree:
- Convert FTD to static C file containing key value pairs

Tested on CN81xx:
- Boots to payload
- Tested with GNU/Linux 4.16.3
- All hardware is usable (after applying additional commits)

Implemented in future commits:
- Vboot integration
- MMU suuport
- L2 Cache handling
- ATF from external repo
- Devicetree patching
- Extended DRAM testing
- UART init

Not working:
- Booting a payload
- Booting upstream ATF

a00c7774d8 soc/intel/common: Disable GPEs just before enabling SMIs
Call to pmc_disable_all_gpe is required before enabling SMIs to ensure
that we do not end up in a recursive SMI handler loop as mentioned in
change 74145f7 (intel/common/pmc: Disable all GPEs during
pmc_init). Thus, this call was added at the end of
pmc_fill_power_state as we want to ensure that all the GPE registers
are backed up before being cleared for identifying the wake source in
ramstage.

This resulted in a side-effect on APL where pmc_fixup_power_state was
called much later in the boot process. Even though we have got rid of
pmc_fixup_power_state, this change moves the call to
pmc_disable_all_gpe to happen just before enabling SMIs. This helps to
keep the disabling of GPEs logically before the enabling of SMIs and
any clean ups that happen in pmc or soc-specific code should not
affect the state of GPEs.

BUG=b:110836465
TEST=Verified that wake sources are correctly identified on KBL and
APL. Also, no SMI handler issues observed when resuming.

344ed02a74 soc/intel/apollolake: Remove call to pmc_fixup_power_state
On APL, call to pmc_fixup_power_state was added because GPE0_EN
registers did not have the right bits set on resume from S3 -- this
was a result of GPE_CFG registers getting reset to their default state
on resume. GPE_CFG registers are programmed as part of pmc_gpe_init
which was previously done only in ramstage.

However, with change a673d1c (soc/intel/apollolake: Initialize GPEs in
bootblock), call to pmc_gpe_init was added to bootblock which means
that GPE_CFG registers will have the right state by the time control
reaches romstage where pmc_fill_power_state is called. Thus, call to
pmc_fixup_power_state is totally redundant and in fact leads to
side-effects because of the call to pmc_disable_all_gpe at the end of
pmc_fill_power_state.

BUG=b:110836465

10b52e0f22 amd/pi: Add GetTempHeapBase callout
Implement a new AGESA callout that may be used to find the correct
temporary location in DRAM to store heap data.

Near the end of AmdInitPost, AGESA migrates its heap from a CAR-based
location to a temporary region. Once cbmem has been established, the
heap will be relocated again in AmdInitEnv from the temp location to
the final one.

This patch does not materially affect the behavior of AGESA's heap
management. It only puts coreboot in control of the location. Future
work may refactor the copying.

9aaf59aa6d soc/intel/broadwell: decouple PEI memory struct from coreboot header
Recent changes to field lengths in include/memory_info.h resulted in
a mismatch between the memory_info struct the MRC blob writes to and
the struct used by coreboot to parse out data for the SMBIOS tables.
This mismatch caused type 17 SMBIOS tables to be filled incorrectly.

The solution used here is to define the memory_info struct as expected
by MRC in the pei_data header, and manually copy the data field by field
into the coreboot memory_info struct, observing the more restrictive
lengths for the two structs.

Test: build/boot google/lulu, verify SMBIOS type 17 tables correctly
populated.

2db06bba0f stoneyridge GPIO: Create and use PAD_INT for interrupt pins
The default interrupt control for GPIO pins within stoneyridge is for
edge triggered, high. However, sometimes these need to change, or maybe
the interrupt needs to be reported or delivered. This was the case of
platform grunt, where the interrupt related bits were being changed
afterwards. Ideally all the bits should be programmed through the same
procedure. Create several PAD_INT definitions (for general configuration,
for trigger configuration and for interrupt type configuration) and change
function sb_program_gpios() to accept the output from PAD_INT_XX and
program all the necessary bits while keeping compatibility with other
PAD_XX definitions.

BUG=b:72875858
TEST=Add code to report GPIO and interrupt configuration, build grunt and
record a baseline. Add new code, rebuild grunt and record a test output.
Compare baseline against test, there should be no change in GPIO or
interrupt programming.
Remove code that reports GPIO/interrupt configuration.
